Tender Loving Care LLC
Our building partner for almost 50 years, TLC offers quality licensed childcare, after school care, and summer programming to children in the Pocatello/Chubbuck community. Since quality, affordable childcare in our state is a threatened public good, we take seriously our responsibility to care for TLC’s facilities and invest in the daycare community’s future.
Portneuf Valley Interfaith Fellowship
Our congregation is an active member of Bannock county’s only interfaith alliance. PVIF hosts interfaith worship services, educates the community about issues such as refugee resettlement and the opioid crisis, and offers a living example of collaborative action and mutual respect in our time of disunity and discord.
Aid For Friends
Aid For Friends serves Southeast Idaho residents experiencing or facing homelessness while helping them access the support and resources they need to get back on their feet. We support A4F with a quarterly financial donation, and refer many folks to their wonderful services.
ISU Wesley House
At 836 E. Carter, just across the way from ISU’s campus, you’ll find the Wesley House. The Wesley House serves the whole campus community, offering students a spiritual home away from home. The Wesley House is a ministry of the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference, overseen by a local board of directors, and coordinated by Tanner and Emma Morton, active members of our congregation.
Reconciling Ministries Network
Since 1984, the RMN has advocated for the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ persons in the United Methodist Church. After prayerful discernment and careful education, our congregation voted to join and support the RMN on Pentecost Sunday, May 28, 2023.
United Women in Faith
Since 1869, United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) has worked to organize, educate, and equip women to advocate for a more just and peaceable world. Our chartered circle meets on 4th Wednesdays from September through May at 10:00am.
